Upgrade of T-55, T-59 & T-69 tanks through extensive R&D and prototype trials. Series production commenced January 2003 — over 480 tanks upgraded to Al-Zarrar configuration by HIT. Features 125mm smooth bore gun, bi-axis stabilized FCS, 2nd-gen thermal imager, and 12.7mm RCWS with auto-tracking.
